A local Leitrim councillor has welcomed the announcement of funding for a local Drumkeerin organisation.
Under the Community Enhancement Programme, the Drumkeerin Youth Café has been allocated €4,000 in funds for construction and enhancement works.
This is following a number of announcements made by the Minister for Rural and Community Development, TD Micheal Ring.
Sinn Fein Councillor Padraig Fallon who has previously been involved in the youth organisation in Drumkeerin is delighted to see that a cafe like this is now up and running:
