Long awaited progress has been made on the derelict apartment building in Ballisodare, Co. Sligo.
The issue around the premises has been ongoing for around 12 years with a number of councillors raising the issue over the years.
The current owners have now responded to requests from the council and a number of works are taking place.
Sinn Fein Cllr, Thomas Healy, says the works are very welcome.
