Minister Daly called on to proivide clarity for Donegal

The minister of state at the Department of Health, Jim Daly, is being urged to provide some clarity once and for all on the plans being considered by Health chiefs for the future of Donegal’s Community Hospitals and older persons services when he visits the county tomorrow.

Sinn Féin Finance Spokesperson, Deputy Pearse Doherty, is calling on the Minister to outline the plans being considered by the HSE on the future of the Donegal facilities

Deputy Doherty claims there is a lot of anger of what he describes as the “snails pace” progress being made by both Government and the HSE to progress and sanction funding for the proposed redevelopment of St Joseph’s and Ramelton Community Hospital.

The Sine Fein TD is also challenging the Minister to provide information in relation to what is planned for health services house at Lifford hospital post 2021.
