Felim Gurn (Ind) and Seán McDermott (FG) have been returned as Councillors to the Manorhamilton Electoral Area on the fifth count.
Gurn got 10 votes of Justin Warnock’s surplus which brought him over the quota (804) to give him the fifth seat with 808 votes. McDermott received 6 of Warnock’s surplus to give him a final total of 778 and was elected without reaching the quota.
Earlier Frank Dolan (FG) was elected on the fourth count following John Joe Dowdican’s elimination. All 6 seats have now been filled with Mary Bohan(FF), Padraig Fallon(SF) and Justin Warnock(FF) all elected on the first count. There has been no chance in the Manorhamilton Electoral Area with all 6 outgoing Councillors been re-elected.
