There are proposals to cut back loading bay times for commercial vehicles in some locations in Sligo town.
Currently some loading bays are operational all day and some operate until 12 noon.
A local election candidate for the Renua Party has suggested all town centre loading bays be regulated for commerical use until 11 am and then return to normal parking spaces on weekdays.
Finbarr Filan says he recently conducted an online survey on the issue and found the vast majority of the large deliveries to business in the town centre are completed by 11 am.
