Gardai have arrested three people as part of an investigation into illegal moneylending in Sligo.
The were arrested on suspicion of extortion.
A man, aged 46, is currently being detained at Ballymote Garda station.
A woman, aged 42, is also being detained at Carrick on Shannon Garda station.
A 17 year old female also arrested has been released from custody and a file will be prepared for the DPP.
