Councillor hits out at advertising along roadsides, sandwich boards in towns and villages

A Donegal councillor has hit out at the use of roadside posters and advertising material in the county of Donegal which, she claims, could lead to a traffic accident.

Donegal Independent Councillor Niamh Kennedy, at this week’s Donegal County Council meeting, was also critical of the use of road signage located at dangerous locations , possibly increasing the chances of accidents.

Councillor Kennedy says the use of sandwich boards in town and villages also obstruct people  with mobility issues.
