Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe says the government is committed to ‘ensuring the investment is in place in Sligo and the region to create more jobs.’
Minister Donohoe attended the Sligo Chamber of Commerce Awards last night in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Sligo.
The Ireland 2040 Plan, the governments plan for the country over the next 20 years, was launched in Sligo at the start of this year.
The Minister says the plan will help protect the North West from the uncertainty of Brexit.
