We need to shop local, support local and produce local.
That’s according to new Chairperson of the Sligo Food Trail, Cllr Marie Casserly.
Speaking at the AGM of the Sligo Food Trail outgoing chairman Anthony Gray said the trail has secured more substantial funding to continue the group’s achievements.
Cllr Casserly said food tourism is a huge industry and it is something she hopes will be developed.
