Traffic is very slow moving along the N15 by Berties pitch and Putt on the Old Bundoran Road due to a car crash.
The incident happened just before 1pm this afternoon where a driver hit a wall, there were no serious injuries.
Sligo Fire Service are currently at the scene directing traffic but motorists are advised to seek alternative routes if possible as traffic is extremely heavy with very long tailbacks.
There is no time as of yet when the road will fully reopen.
