Donegal should have a new minister by the end of the day, when local TD Joe McHugh will be confirmed as the new Minister for Education and Skills.
Deputy McHugh is expected be appointed later today following Dail approval to the position of Minister for Education and Skills.
The appointment has been widely welcomed throughout the local region
Local Ballyshannon County Councillor Barry O’Neill has been telling the Ocean FM News that Deputy McHugh will bring many qualities to the role.
