ICSA warns any hike in diesel prices in budget will hit farmers hard



The head of the Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association in Donegal is hoping says any hike to diesel prices in tomorrow’s budget will have a serious impact on farmers.

In addition to a proposed carbon tax, it’s very likely that a hike to diesel prices will be announced by the Minister in tomorrow’s budget.

It means that contractors would end up having to charge more for their services like spreading slurry.
