High Street in Sligo Town is closed to traffic this morning (Sunday September 9th).
The reason is to facilitate the demolition of the front of a building in the area.
Diversions are in place via Pearse Road and Castle Street for motorists while pedestrians still have access on the east side and the council plan to stop work during Mass times today.
High Street is due to reopen early tomorrow morning but Sligo County Council advise that they may be further closures next week to complete the works.
