Funeral of young man who died in Bundoran crash to take place in Co Fermanagh today



The funeral of a young man who died in a crash in Co Donegal over the weekend takes place today.

Two people died in the collision in Bundoran in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Conall McAleer, who was in her early 20s, was one of two people who died in the accident in Bundoran.

20-year-old Shiva Devine, from Donegal Town, also died in the accident. Hundreds attended her funeral in Ballintra yesterday.

Six people in total were in the car when it collided with a wall at Eastway in Bundoran on Sunday morning.

Another woman remains in a critical condition in Beaumont hospital, while two other men are still being treated for their injuries in Sligo University Hospital.

A sixth occupant of the car, a man in his 20s, presented himself at Ballyshannon Garda Station several hours after the crash.

He was arrested and questioned and then released without charge last night. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Conall McAleers funeral will take place in Ederney, Co Fermanagh this afternoon.
