Irish Rail says ‘No’ to Sligo Carrick commuter service



Irish Rail has refused to provide a morning commuter service between Carrick-on-Shannon and Sligo.

Rail service bosses say they do not believe there is enough customer demand.

It’s estimated that hundreds of people travel between Sligo and Carrick-on-Shannon for work everyday.
