Irish Water have said they are preparing for a possible drought in the Northwest as the heatwave continues.
People are facing water shortages and restrictions as temperatures peak at 31 degrees today.
And as the northwest basks in the heat there is more demand than ever on our water supply, and people are being asked to conserve water as much as they can.
