Dozens of cheering children greeted President Michael D Higgins in Co Leitrim today.
The President is in the Northwest for a number of engagements today.
This morning he visited Gaelscoil Chluainin in Manorhamilton and he will be in Sligo and Balliosdare this afternoon.
