Calls have been made for Donegal Castle to be open longer in the evenings.
The castle, situated in the centre of Donegal Town, currently closes it’s doors at 6pm.
Last year the iconic site had almost 50,000 visitors.
And local Cllr Michael Naughton, says with more and more tourists arriving in the town in the evenings, the castle should be opened longer:
