Suspicious fires damage mobile home, car



Gardai in Ballymote are appealing for witnesses after two suspicious fires in Monasteraden and Charlestown last night.

Gardai are investigating the possibility that a mobile home was deliberately set on fire in Clogher, Monasteraden in south Sligo at about 10pm.

The scenes of crime attended the scene this morning.

Meanwhile just under three hours later in Charlestown in county Mayo a car was found on fire in Cloonaughill.

The vehicles was parked outside a house.

Gardai are not ruling out that the incidents could be connected and they are appealing for anyone with further information to contact them at Ballymote Garda Station.
