A proposal to dumped dredged silt in Donegal Bay ‘has the potential to destroy local communities’.

The quote is in a submission by the Killybegs Community Council to the EPA today against plans by the Department to dump dredge material as part of the extension of the new harbour out at sea.

They are one of a number of groups and individuals objecting to the plans before today’s deadline.
