The residents of Dromahair have been thanked for their generosity as donations pile in for the new asylum seekers at Abbey Manor Hotel.
Collections took place over the weekend for children’s toys and clothing, along with clothing for women.
Local election candidate, Bernie Linnane, put out the call for donations on Friday, and praised the “boxes and boxes” that have been handed over.
Ms Linnane says she’s never seen anything like that kind of support before.
