The count for the position of Regional Chairperson for Connacht will be postponed for at least a week.
It follows the sudden death of the county secretary in Sligo Marie Kenny.
The late Mrs. Kenny was from the Rathlee Easkey area of west Sligo and was a retired teacher and an active member of the IFA locally.
Members of the IFA have been paying tribute to her today following her unexpected death.
Voting was to take place in Sligo tomorrow for the position of Connacht Chair, however the IFA in Sligo has confirmed that the vote will be postponed.
As a result the count which was due to take place on Friday at the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon will also be postponed and a new date will be reconfirmed in due course.
