Aurivo Co-op has announced the introduction of a Fixed Milk Price Scheme for its dairy farmers.
A price of 28.25 cent per litre including VAT will apply for standard solids. However, based on expected average solids, the actual price will exceed 31 c/l.
Suppliers can apply to cover up to 10 percent of their milk supply and the scheme will be allocated proportionately across suppliers that apply.
It will commence on 1 August 2016 and run for 30 months.
