Brexit could complicate cross border trade and customs says Kenny

The people of the UK will vote on whether or not they want to remain part of the European Union in less than a fortnight.

Upwards of half a million Irish citizens could have a big say on the UK referendum on June 23rd.

And Taoiseach Enda Kenny will meet UK Prime Minister David Cameron in Manchester in the coming week.

Speaking recently, Kenny suggested a possible return of border or customs controls, saying that such issues would require some very serious negotiations.

Simon Keever of the Irish Exporters Association, says a vote for Brexit would have adverse impact on trade between the two countries.
