A local mother has spoken of her fears that pupils using concessionary school transport passes may lose their seats because of a downsizing of school buses.
She says many parents don’t realise that ‘concessionary’ ticket holders are not automatically entitled to a seat.
So-called ‘concessionary’ ticket holders only get a place if there are spare seats on the bus.
But with downsizing of buses, there will be fewer seats.
This local mother spoke to Ocean FM about the situation and outlined her fears.
