Over 1,600 homes were left without electricity in the north Leitrim area this morning.   At one stage there were over 1661 homes without power in the Manorhamilton region.   ESB crews have been working on the fault and it’s expected that electricity will be restored to 278 homes still…

Over 1000 people are currently without power in Sligo and Leitrim.   The majority of affected premises are in Drumshanbo while over 130 homes are without power in Collooney.   Crews are currently carrying out repair works with power expected to be restored to both areas by 10.30 this morning.
