Connacht Convention in Leitrim this evening
Leitrim hosts the annual Connacht convention this evening. Leitrim’s Gerry McGovern will be elected as president of the Connacht Council, having served three years as vice-president. Sligo’s John Murphy will take over as vice-president. The event gets underway at 6.30pm at the Bush Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon.
