Projects in Sligo and Leitrim are to share €153,600 under the Historic Structures Fund 2023.
Among the local highlights include €37,500.00 for the Sligo Cemetery Gate Lodge with the same amount being awarded to Tullaghan House in Leitrim.
It’s part of a national fund of €4.5m which aims to support owners of protected structures to safeguard and maintain their properties.
The funding is also said to provide a boost to local construction and heritage trades.
