Donegal’s Mark English qualified for the semi-finals of the men’s 800 metres at the European Athletics Championships in Munich following a first-placed finish in Thursday morning’s heat.
The Letterkenny man finished first in a time of 1:47.54 in what was a controlled and measured performance.
