61 people waiting for a bed at two main North West hospitals



There were 61 people waiting for a bed at the two main north west hospitals this morning.

 

42 people were waiting in Sligo University Hospital while a further 19 were waiting in Letterkenny.

 

Nationally there were 546 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.

 

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation has called on the HSE Emergency Department Taskforce to urgently convene in light of abnormal trolley figures.
