Final day for submissions on Phase 2 of Knock to Collooney route

Today is the final day for people to submit their views on proposed routes for the N17 Knock to Collooney route.

13 options are available for public consultation until 5pm this evening under Phase 2 of the plans.

The proposed route is currently in the Planning and Design stage which will then move to the Design and Enviromental Impact stage.

A broad design will be chosen but this will still be subject to rigorious assessment and nothing will be decided until further public consultation takes place.

In a statement to OceanFM News this afternoon from the Sligo County Council’s National Roads Project Office, people should should know that this is ‘not a statutory deadline’ and that the local authority will accommodate late submissions.
