Donegal GAA has confirmed that the replay of the 2020 Donegal senior club football championship final between Kilcar and Naomh Conaill will be played on Wednesday, September 8th, in McCumhaill Park in Ballybofey at 7:45pm.
This follows the decision on Sunday night by the county’s Central Competitions Control Committee to uphold Kilcar’s objection following the original game two weeks ago.
Naomh Conaill won the delayed 2020 final on penalties. Kilcar then objected on the grounds that their opponents used too many subs in extra-time.
The objection was proven – and Donegal GAA has decided that the final should be replayed.
The game will be broadcast live on Ocean FM on Wednesday week – and it will also be steamed live by TG4.
The 2021 Donegal SFC is scheduled to start the following weekend, September 11th/12th.
