Independent TDs are expected to become involved in government formation talks next week.
Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Greens are discussed health policy this morning.
There is an ambition within those parties to get the support of independent TDs – to make the next goverment more stable and durable.
Several independents, including Sligo/Leitrim TD Marian Harkin, have already been involved in preliminary discussions.
