Gardaí are advising motorists to drive with care and to avoid unnecessary journeys as Storm Ciara intensifies with strong winds and heavy rain with localised flooding as its reported that a lorry has come off the main road near Killybegs.
Gardaí are currently at the scene which happened on the Donegal Town side of Killybegs, near the Benroe turn off.
It’s not clear if anyone has been injured, or if other vehicles were involved.
Motorists are advised to expect delays on this route.
