Supporters of the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign will stage a vigil in Sligo tomorrow.
The event is being organised to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and to protest at President Donald Trump’s recent announcement that the U.S. will no longer consider Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territory to be illegal.
The event will is due to take place tomorrow afternoon (New Year’s Eve), at Hyde Bridge and will get underway at 2.00.p.m.
