The Donegal Abortion Rights Campaign Group is welcoming access to abortion services in Ireland for the first time.
Yesterday the services were made available by the Health Service Executive, through GPs or family planning services, and in maternity units and hospitals across the country.
Following last year’s referendum and subsequent legislative change, people can now access an abortion in Ireland under specific circumstances.
Donegal Abortion Rights Campaign spokesperson, Sinéad Stewart, says the group will continue its work to increase access to abortion services.
