Shareholders at Donegal Co-op Livestock Mart have voted in favour of plans for the development of a major €10 million retail development in Donegal town.
The development, which will be situated close to The Diamond, will consist of a supermarket, a number of retail units, coffee shops and 200 car-parking spaces.
The compnay behind the proposed development have said up to 400 new jobs could be created.
Earlier this week shareholders at the mart held a vote on whether to grant the Northern-Ireland based developer permission to acquire a piece of land from the mart in order to lodge an application for planning permission next month.
