Gardai are investigating after a number of graves were damaged at Sligo Cemetery.
They received reports of damage to some graves recently on Cemetery Rd.
Gardai are now carrying out patrols at the graveyard at different times throughout the nights now, as it is believed this damage is being carried out during the hours of darkness.
Anyone with any information about the crime or anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity in the vicinity of the cemetry, should contact Sligo Garda station.
