Nearly 800 people are affected by electrical power outages in South Donegal this morning because of faults in the system.
About 560 ESB customers are without power in the Donegal Town and Inver areas.
It’s expected supply will be restored shortly after 11 o clock this morning.
In the Glenties area, more than 240 people are without electricity.
The ESB hopes to have power back there by 11:45am.
UPDATE, 9:30am:
About 260 people are still without power in South Donegal.
The areas affected are around Inver, Mountcharles and Derries.
Earlier this morning, there had been up to 800 people in areas of South Donegal without power.
The ESB hopes to have electricity restored to those still without electricity by 12:15pm today.
