The Buncrana pier tragedy inquest continues this morning.
Yesterday it heard that the driver of the car that ended up in the waters of Lough Swilly was over the drink driving limit.
Though the pathologist involved couldn’t say how it would have impaired his driving.
The inquest also heard there was algae that was ‘slippy as ice’ at the bottom of the slipway, and it hadn’t been cleared in months.
