A vigil is being held outside the hospitals in the North West later this week to highlight people’s opposition to the long waiting lists and ongoing numbers waiting on trolleys across the country.
It follows the revelations in an RTE investigation last week that the numbers on waiting lists across the region are in fact much higher than official figures reveal.
It will be held outside Letterkenny and Sligo University Hospital at 7:30pm on Thursday the 16th of February.
Cyril Brennan of the Still Waiting Campaign in Donegal is one of the organisers.
