The winner of the major prize was a runner up in the National Lottery’s New Years Eve millionaire raffle draw.
The ticket was bought in The American House on main street in the South Donegal town.
The winning ticket worth 1 million euro was sold in Co. Cork.
The raffle ticket was number 435295 and was bought in Bundoran on the day of the draw. It’s not yet known if the lucky winner is local or was a New Years Eve visitor.
