Sinn Fein’s Martin Kenny says other parties ‘throwing mud’ at the party

Sligo Leitrim Sinn Fein Deputy, Martin Kenny, has accused other political parties of throwing mud at Sinn Fein, in the row over Gerry Adams’ involvement in the Brian Stack affair.

Deputy Kenny has today given his full backing to Deputy Adams, insisting he has been truthful in his dealings with the Stack family, and that he had tried his best for them.
The son of murdered prison officer Brian Stack has rejected Mr Adams’ claims over a meeting he arranged with an IRA leader.

The Sinn Fein leader made the claims this morning regarding the meeting he arranged between the IRA leader and the Stack family in 2013.

Deputy Kenny says the controversy adds to the need for an establishment of a truth and reconciliation process.
