Sligo & Leitrim to share almost €2M under Town & Village Renewal Scheme



A number of projects in Sligo and Leitrim are set to benefit from almost €2 million in funding under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.

 

The funding will see old and derelict buildings repurposed for community use.

 

Tubbercurry is to get the biggest share at half a million euro to purchase two sites for the development of a food hub and recreational amenities.

 

Ballymote and Culfadda have also been sanction funding while Manorhamilton is also getting money for the refurbishment of a vacant property into a fully accessible dedicated youth hub.
