A child has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Donegal Town this afternoon.
The incident occurred at around 2pm, and its understood the child’s injuries are non life-threatening.
No arrests have been made and Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on Upper Main Street, Donegal town between 1.45pm and 2.15pm and are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
