A brand new sports complex is getting closer to construction in Arigna.
Funding had been previously secured from the Department of Rural and Community Development, and now Roscommon County Council are on the search for a contractor to undertake the project.
The multi-use games area will contain facilities for a range of sports, including football, tennis, and volleyball.
It is expected to provide a much needed space that caters to the whole community.
