Clamping now underway in Sligo

Motorists in Sligo are being warned that clamping is now underway in a number of areas of the town.

Sligo County Council has confirmed that the clamping of illegally parked vehicles in disabled bays and in the Coach Stop on Markievicz Road began earlier this week.

The Sligo County Council Car Parking Bye-Laws 2024 and Parking Places Bye-Laws 2024 for the regulation and control of parking in respect of the area comprising of the Municipal District of Sligo came into effect on March 1st.
