Sligo senior men’s rugby team completed a Connacht Senior League and Cup double on Saturday at Hamilton Park in Strandhill, when they added the Connacht Senior Cup title to their league success at the start of the season, with a 34-12 win over Buccaneers.
The same side had beaten Sligo in last season’s provincial final – but here, Sligo settled the score with a deserved victory.
