Frosses rally driver Eamonn Kelly finished in impressive third in Rally Sweden on Sunday, the opening round of the 2024 Junior World Rally Championship.
Kelly and his co-driver Conor Mohan, finished third in their Ford Fiesta Rally 3 behind 18-year-old Mille Johansson (Sweden).
Rally Sweden is the only full ice and snow rally on the junior WRC calendar and Kelly and Mohan dealt with the conditions impressively.
They had climbed to third on the overall classification by the end of Saturday’s stages – and were able to maintain that position during Sunday’s final stages.
This was was the first of a five-series junior rally championship in 2024.
