69 on trolleys across the North West today



69 people are waiting for beds in the North West’s two hospitals today.

The latest figures from the INMO show that there were 35 people awaiting admission at Sligo University Hospital, with 34 also waiting in Letterkenny.

Meanwhile, 612 patients are waiting for beds around the country’s hospitals this morning.

441 people are in Emergency Departments, with 171 in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

The worst affected facility is University Hospital Limerick with 101 patients waiting, while Cork University Hospital has 75 people waiting for a bed.
